镁合金液态成型研究室以新型镁合金及镁基复合材料设计、微观组织结构表征和强韧化机制研究,镁合金凝固理论研究及凝固过程数值模拟,镁合金液态精密成型新工艺开发及成型过程数值模拟为主要研究内容,旨在提高铸造镁合金性能和优化镁合金铸件成型工艺,满足实际生产中对镁合金新材料和成型新工艺的需求。

(A) 镁合金新材料设计、微观组织结构表征和强韧化机制研究;
(B) 镁基复合材料设计、制备工艺、显微组织及力学性能研究;
(C) 镁合金凝固理论实验研究与计算机数值模拟,具体包括镁合金凝固组织形成原理,凝固过程中的热量、质量和动量传输,凝固条件对凝固行为的影响;
(D) 镁合金液态精密成型新工艺开发及成型过程的数值模拟(解决材料液态成型应用中遇到的实际问题以达到对铸件形状与性能的控制)(工程化应用)。
