The research field is mainly studying and developing novel magnesium-based degradable materials and their preparing technologies. The biocompatibility, bio-mechanical properties as well as the corrosion degradation behaviors in-vitro and in-vivo of Mg and its alloys, such as AZ91D and JDBM were studied systematically. The aim of the research is to develop biodegradable magnesium implant materials for biomedical application.
